Cough & Cuirass
Mechanical In-Exsufflator(MI-E) helps the patients to clear bronchial secretions by gradually applying the positive pressure to the airway followed by a rapid shift to negative pressure.
Vibration through Cuirass helps the patients to clear bronchial secretions via Cuirass, which covers the patient’s torso. Device applies the negative pressure to Cuirass for the patient’s inhalation and rapidly shift to positive pressure to Cuirass for the exhalation.
These rapid changes in pressure during different phases help to make the cough stronger and more effective.
Features
One device multi therapy
CC30 provides MI-E therapy as well as Cuirass therapy.
This combination enhances the efficacy of Secretion clearance.
MI-E mode
The mechanical in-exsufflator (MI-E) delivers a positive-pressure insufflation followed by an expulsive exsufflation, thereby simulating a normal cough.
Use of the MI-E with impaired cough results in improved cough flows and enhanced airway clearance.
F&V mode
CC30 delivers Vibration to the patient by way of Cuirass. Secretion can be dislodged and moved toward central airways.
Fitting function: CC30 checks if fit Cuirass to patient with the set value of Inhale pressure. If Cuirass fits appropriately to the patient without leakage, Vibration function shall be ready to start.
Vibration function: Once Vibration function is activated, the device works as per the set value of Inhale Pressure, Frequency and Time.
C&C mode
CC30 delivers positive-pressure insufflation followed by an expulsive exsufflation by Cuirass. It makes the patient feel more comfortable when clearing secretion.
Vibration function: Vibration to the patient by way of Cuirass. Secretion can be dislodged and moved toward central airways.
Cough function: The secretion being dislodged and moved toward central airways is removed by Cough function.
Safety Lock
To prevent unintentional or accidental touch to the keys, the control keys can be locked. Power ON/OFF and ‘START/STOP’ buttons will not be locked at anytime.
